Insurance:
Many of our patients have insurance that covers some or all of the services provided at Kartini Clinic. If you are unsure whether your insurance company is contracted with us, simply give us a call us and we'll be able to determine this right over the phone.
If your insurance company is contracted with Kartini Clinic we will be reimbursed for our services by your insurance company. This means you will only have to pay your co-pay at the time of your appointment. Kartini Clinic will bill your insurance directly and process any payments sent to us. Your share of the costs will be determined by your insurance plan's benefits.
If your insurance company does not contract with Kartini Clinic you will be asked to pay for services at the time of your appointment. Kartini Clinic will still send all claims to your insurance company for you. Your insurance company should then reimburse you directly according to your plan's benefits. Patients who have out-of-network insurance plans are responsible for obtaining referrals, preauthorizations for care, or any other requirements of your insurance plan. For more information on insurance coverage please see our Frequently Asked Questions page.
Benefits:
Before you can schedule your initial consultation (your very first appointment with us) you will be asked for your insurance company's name and your ID number. These are located on your insurance card. We use this information to contact your insurance company and explain the service we provide at Kartini Clinic. Your insurance company gives us a summary of your applicable insurance benefits, and we pass this information on to you.
Your insurance benefits will determine what amounts you will be responsible to pay for your or your child's care. While Kartini Clinic works very hard to ensure everyone has access to care through their insurance plan, you are ultimately responsible for understanding your plan's benefits, requirements and limitations.
